Ogloba is delighted to announce a new partnership with NCS (New Co-Operation Joint-Stock Trade Chain Co., Ltd.), a large state-owned company that focuses on retail, but also has business interests in the procurement, logistics, and supply chain sectors. By the end of 2013, NCS had 1328 directly operated supermarkets and hypermarkets, along with another 100,000 affiliated stores, covering 800 counties in 16 provinces across China.

The ROPO platform allows large electronic consumer goods to be sold through any store where the system has been implemented. This will demonstrate the convenience and minimal cost involved in smaller (non-flagship) stores carrying the big item (ticket) products.

The NCS ROPO project aims to showcase the new concept that, with the help of modern technology, it is possible to increase the revenue per square meter per store with a minimal impact, and fight back against eCommerce retailers that have, until now, been able to offer a greater selection of products.
